Fiction is stuff near the periphery of the not-fiction. Thus, fiction can hint the shape of not-fiction, or, in other words, the real world. Artists feel free in the world of fiction. Artists feel safe in the world of fiction. We need fiction in order to read/understand the not-fiction.
Written and spoken words are fiction.
Language is a fictional protocol that allows such fiction to be possible.
Painting is fiction.
Film is fiction.
Walk is NOT fiction.
Tuition is NOT fiction.
Love is NOT fiction.
Thinking that I'm in love may be fiction.
Saying I love you is fiction. It is an example of borrowing fiction to deliver something that is not fiction.
Music is fiction, perhaps the most fiction out of all different kinds of art.
